A History of Housing in Rural Texas
Winston and Judy Sullivan moved to Cass County in 1971, settling in Linden, Texas, and creating the start-up Sullivan Builders, Inc. Recognizing the need for quality housing in rural East Texas, Sullivan Builders and Design Group began designing and constructing single-family homes as new housing programs were developed.
Throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, the company expanded its reach, constructing senior citizen and multi-family housing across Northeast Texas, West Texas, and the Panhandle. With the expansion of construction and development, the business began to prosper.
The Next Chapter
Marlon and Jina began MJS Management in 1994 to oversee the management and operations of all the properties constructed by Sullivan Builders. Now serving as co-owners of the company, they have seen the business grow to the management of over 900 units across the state of Texas.

Our company consists of a large, diverse team that spans across the state of Texas. Our employees range from dedicated managers and maintenance divisions at each individual property, to our corporate team that ensures our office functions daily.
